Cotton has been loved for centuries — and for good reason. Soft, breathable, and endlessly versatile, it’s one of nature’s most comfortable fibers. Conventional cotton is easy to wear and easy to care for, making it a favorite for everyday basics, durable denim, and cozy home linens alike. Its natural ability to absorb moisture and stay cool against the skin makes it ideal for our coastal climate and year-round comfort. While we always encourage mindful choices, we also recognize that good quality cotton, made with care and durability in mind, still has a place in a sustainable wardrobe — especially when it’s cherished, well-made, and designed to last.

Regular cotton can be a bit of a diva, thirsty, chemical-hungry, and hard on the planet. Organic cotton, on the other hand, plays nice. Grown without toxic pesticides or GMOs, it keeps farmers, soil, and waterways happy.
