About the Print:
Love, faith, and courage… we designed this piece as a reminder to keep all three close when the road feels long! This beautiful, dramatic print was created using archival artwork from the 1800’s — including floral wreaths & fountains from Victorian lithographs, and an 1878 hand-coloured Sacred Heart illustration. The words “Love is an arrow, aim true”, and “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also”, are hidden in the design as little talismans of strength. The words “courage, dear heart”, repeated on the straps, were inspired by a quote from C.S. Lewis — the author of the Narnia Chronicles. The result is a dramatic and rich print that we hope will encourage you to give yourself grace, celebrate your tenacious spirit, and always, always take heart.
