Konjac Sponges are an incredible exfoliation experience that is both gentle and effective. They help to treat mild acne, smooth fine lines, and clean out pores. Konjac Sponges are a great alternative to harsh scrubs or exfoliators that contain plastic microbeads, as your sponge can easily be composted once you’re done with it.
Made from natural konjac root, the konjac plant, is a species of flowering plant. Also referred to as devil’s tongue, voodoo lily, snake palm, or elephant yam. The sponges are made from the root of that plant.
Konjac sponges were first created as a way for Japanese farmers to cleanse babies skin. Therefor are a much gentler way to cleanse, purify, and exfoliate dead or dry skin during your daily face wash.
Which Konjac Sponge is right for you?
- white – normal/sensitive/all skin types
- pink(pink clay) – dry/sensitive/reactive
- black(bamboo charcoal) – acne prone/oily
- green(green tea) – all skin types
- yellow(yellow clay) – dry/eczema/sun damage
- purple(lavender) – combination/calming/balancing
Instructions
- Soak – Soak in water for 3 minutes to expand to full size.
- Clean – Once full size, begin cleaning your face by moving the sponge in a circular motion and message your face.
- Drain & dry – When finished, drain it by giving it a gentle squeeze and dry it by hanging it in a well- ventilated area
- Use – you can use it every day, with or without a cleanser.
- Replace – replace your konjac sponge every 1-3 months, depending on use.
